I can’t seem to find a list of participating banks on Maxis’ website for its interest free installment plans for its iPhone packages, so I’m just going to snap a photo of their advertisement in the Star today that mentions their deals with 4 banks, which are:
- Citibank.
- HSBC.
- Maybank.
- Public Bank.
DiGi’s interest free installment plans are in partnership with AmBank, CIMB, Citibank, HSBC and Maybank, one more bank than Maxis.
I love competition – it normally results in other parties being more transparent and sharing more information about their own offerings. And did you notice that there are 2 advertisements for the iPhone in today’s Star newspaper, from DiGi and Maxis? I just wish that the plans on offer were more attractive from both of them; at the moment, the only people which seems to be happy is the print media folks who are making a killing on all these advertising by both parties!

I think this is another sign that there will be a new Iphone as well…..
