No, Acer's not venturing into the fizzy drinks market, you silly boy. It's the codename for Acer's first Android smartphone, previously codenamed A1. In a press release today, Acer US announced the launching of the Liquid Android smartphone, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. If the processor sounds familiar to you, yes, it's the same processor found in the Toshiba TG01 as well as the new, very anticipated and superphone, the HTC HD2 (aka Leo). The press release unfortunately does not mention the clockspeed of the processor being used.
