Sony VAIO W Netbook Review
My, that was quick. Barely a couple of days after the announcement of the VAIO W, Sony's first netbook, the whatlaptop website of the UK has done one of the world's first reviews of the device. The short of it?
- nice screen resolution of 1366 x 768 compared to the usual 1024 x 600 of the majority of other netbooks on the market.
- screen's colour and contrast is excellent, and picture is very sharp.
- chiclet keyboard is nice, although the reviewer prefers the keyboard on the Samsung N110.

Whether the device is worth US$499 (RM 1,785) or not, is up to you - some would pay anything (well, almost anything) to own a Sony; others would simply thumb their noses at having to pay a premium of RM 300 compared to other netbooks, for an otherwise run-of-the-mill device.
