In what must surely be a sign that the launching of the iPhone3GS is very very close, Singtel, Apple's exclusive partner for the iPhone in Singapore, has updated its iPhone microsite. As far as I can see, compared to the previous version, there are two major changes:
|
- the new iPhone3GS is now displayed prominently on the microsite, although interested customers/non-customers are still invited to register their interest. It was previously only mentioned in a text sentence at the bottom of the page.
- the existing 16Gb model of the iPhone3G has been sold out, which is a good sign of inventory management indeed for Singtel, because with the launch of the iPhone3GS whose capacity starts at 16Gb, there would have been too much of an overlap between the existing 3G and 3GS models.
