@alan, like I said, if 3G doesn’t work, try WiFi. If it doesn’t work, try looking for an Ovi Store installer, and install manually.

erm…i don’t get it what you said…so you mean that ic annot use my ”ovi store” by using my phone already?and i need to download applications by using computer?

i have the same experience as Chiara, since I updated to V40.0.005. I downloaded some free stuff from Ovi via WiFi. It shows 100% downloaded, but then it show ‘installation failed’ instead of ‘download failed’. I try several time, and it remain same.

Can anybody help ?

@alan, find a download link somewhere and install it that way, instead of downloading it via 3G. Or you can try downloading using WiFi.

but i didnt apply 3G for my phone…so how am i going to solve this problem?
when i tap on ”download” ,it loaded until 100% and yet it says download failed…what happend to my ovi store and how am i going to solve this problem?
can someone teach me please?

@chiara, I would try two things:
(1) use 3G/EDGE to download
(2) switch SIM cards, preferably from another operator

i can’t download any application using ovi. i was successful in downloading facebook but when im downloading other applications it will start downloading up until 100% then it will suddenly say download failed, this has been ongoing for a week now. i have no problems connecting to internet using wifi connection only when downloading items to ovi. is there a limit or some sort? my connection is good ive tested it using my laptop and it works fine. i can use nimbuzz on my phone but really only on downloading apps in ovi

@Jack, when you download an app, it should detect where you’re coming from, or least when you’re signed in to the Ovi Store, it should know your home country, so it should display the prices of your home country. This should NOT be hard coded into the application, which in this case, it sounds as if it is. If it is hard coded, the programmer(s) should be hung out to dry, it’s very bad programming.
