@mamuiz, you are not following step 1 – you need to try to get a “base package” to install that will not complain of an update error. An update error is when you are trying to install an update over an existing version. In your case, you don’t have an existing version, that’s why this error.

I can’t remember which version exactly that I used as the base package, but I believe it was version 4.x

But QuickOffice is not worth the effort (yet) because there is still no touch support for it.

thanks, now i’m following the instruction. I installed from Nokia download, qo viewer and have signed v5. the err message was “Update Error”

@mamuiz, are you trying to do this on a 5800? There is no hack yet for the 5800 along with some other newer Nokia phones with the latest firmwares. You cannot hack the firmware this way to install expired/unsigned applications! The only way to install those types of applications is to get your own developer certificate as I outlined in my tutorials and install after self-signing it.

when i installed TRK s60_3_0_app_TRK_2_7.sisx, it fails either install in mem or phone card with message ‘built in system file’, but when i searched using active file, there is no such file – i run and type TRK but unrecognized.

if i can have TRK than i can connect with SecMan and able to instal ver5 then ver6 of quick office.

any one can help to get the compatible TRK file and how to install as this is built in app?
