Another Demonstration Of Multitouch On The G1

google_androidThere was a post about this earlier, and it required some “hacking” of system files to make it work.  There is now another video showing that the T-Mobile G1 Android handset is indeed multitouch capable (so we can all start swiping the screen iPhone style) and this demo doesn’t require hacking any system files, only modification of a Java library.

It’s not that interesting at this point as it only shows that this is possible, and is therefore of more interest to software developers out there who want to take advantage of it.  Until “mortal” consumers like you and me start to see “real” multi-touch capable applications on Android, the video below is only for the extremely geeky.
